
Strong quake strikes eastern Taiwan

Aerial images from Yuli township in eastern Taiwan show one collapsed building after a strong earthquake struck the south east of the island Sunday. Forecasters say the threat of a regional tsunami has passed. The quake hit at 2:44 pm (0644 GMT) about 50 kilometers (30 miles) north of the city of Taitung at a depth of 10 kilometers, the United States Geological Survey said. | 🎥 : Yuli fire department via Agence France-Presse
