Few Chhath devotees stand in the toxic foam laden Yamuna river near Delhi's Kalindi Kunj.
People performed the rituals in the Yamuna River amid the toxic foam.
"We know that the Yamuna river water is dirty and it could be hazardous," said a devotee
"There is no option as prayers are offered to the Sun god while standing in flowing waters of a river," the devotee added.
A large number of devotees celebrate Chhath Puja in Delhi and they are forced to dip in the toxic foam.
