Two days after a special Punjab Assembly session was held to pass a resolution against the notification to extend the BSF’s jurisdiction from 15 km to 50 km in Punjab, BSF IG Sonali Mishra held a press conference on Saturday.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
