Prince Charles’ warning to Prime Minister Scott Morrison made Sky News host Paul Murray “a little more enthusiastic about a republic” than ever before.
In an interview with the BBC, where the Australian government was described as “reluctant to accept the urgency” of climate change, Prince Charles appeared shocked to hear Mr Morrison was considering skipping the COP26 conference.
Mr Murray said the future king was “one person who I did not want to hear from today.
“It’s a bloke who lives in a freaking castle, who thinks we have to turn up, we have to sign up,” he said.
